This Sunday, February 9th, the National Prisoner of War Museum at the Andersonville National Historic Site, the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, and the WWII Home Front Museum will participate in Super Museum Sunday, an annual event organized by the Georgia Historical Society as part of the Georgia History Festival. On this day, over 100 museums and historic sites across Georgia open their doors to the public free of charge, offering a unique opportunity to explore the state’s rich history, arts, and culture.
