The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force hosted a Georgia WWII Heritage Trail planning meeting Nov. 18, 2024.  The purpose of the meeting was explore strategies to expand awareness of the Trail throughout Georgia and beyond. 

“The Trail is comprised of volunteers representing eleven historic sites and organizations dedicated to preserving and teaching Georgia’s rich World War II history,” said Georgia WWII Heritage Trail Ed Coleman.  “Our vision is to promote the unique perspective and experience offered by each Trail member in sharing the stories of the Greatest Generation.”
