February 16, 2025 – Visit Douglas-Coffee County GA and the Douglas Municipal Airport will host the 3rd Annual WINGS & THINGS Festival and Fly-in on March 22nd, 9am-4pm.  The event will feature warbirds, antique military vehicles, food trucks, vendors, kids area, entertainment, car show, hot wing cook-off and more.  Douglas is home to the WWII Flight Training Museum and the recently dedicated memorial to Korean War Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Charles A. Loring, Jr.

CAF Airbase Georgia will be participating with a T-34 Mentor and recently restored PT-19 Cornell.  Delivered to Moton Field in November 1943, The PT-19 is the only aircraft flying today that was used to train the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II.  Rides are available for purchase in both aircraft.  For more info click here.
